Use of payment cards
Most UniCredit Bank ATMs offers you the cash deposit service. For deposits at our ATMs, it is only necessary to have your UniCredit Bank debit card and to enter your PIN. It is only possible to deposit cash to accounts maintained in CZK. It is simple to deposit cash – a guide on the monitor will lead you. When depositing cash via an ATM, the funds are credited immediately.
It is possible to draw cash from any ATM in the Czech Republic or abroad which is marked with the same logo as the one shown on your payment card. For this transaction it is always necessary to enter your PIN code.
The Bank charges clients withdrawing cash from ATMs only the fee stipulated in the valid UniCredit Bank Tariff.
Surcharge for use of card in ATMs
If you withdraw cash from the ATM of another bank, it can happen that the ATM owner will charge an additional fee/surcharge for the use of its ATM.
The ATM owner should inform you of the additional fee/surcharge on the ATM screen (e.g., its amount, the name of the ATM owner, etc.) in the same language as the one you selected for use of the ATM.
If you do not agree with the fee/surcharge, you should cancel the cash withdrawal option. This fee/surcharge is not charged by UniCredit Bank.
You can also withdraw cash with the card over the counter at the bank, in the offices of other banks, and in currency exchange offices which are labelled and offer the so-called Cash Advance service. The cash being withdrawn is paid out only in the currency of the country where the service is provided.
Cash Back is an automatic service combining convenient payment by payment card for services and goods, and cash withdrawal. For card payment at a merchant in the Czech Republic, it is only necessary to apply for the issue of cash.
Minimum value of purchase is CZK 1.
Maximum amount of cash withdrawal is CZK 3,000.
Transaction currency only in Czech korunas.
The cash withdrawn is included in the total limit of your payment card.
Cash Back offers you additional benefits:
Card payment at a merchant is carried out mainly through an electronic terminal or mechanical scanner, the so-called imprinter. In the payment, the transaction is usually confirmed by entering the correct PIN code, signature on the receipt from the terminal, and/or by holding the contactless card in close proximity to the contactless terminal.
UniCredit Bank does not charge any fee for card use at a merchant in the Czech Republic or abroad.
Surcharge for use of card at merchants
In some countries, merchants can charge a surcharge for payments made by payment card added to the total price of purchase.
This fee/surcharge is not charged by UniCredit Bank.
Use the card only on websites which have secured data transmission (SSL protocol), there is https:// in the address bar of the web browser, and the padlock icon.
For payment by card on the Internet, the entire card number is usually provided, the card validity period, and the CVC2/CVV2 security code.
Never provide payment card’s PIN or the associated account number and password.
All UniCredit Bank payment cards allow for the most secure method of card payment at Internet merchants through the use of 3DSecure security.
You can order goods and services by telephone or by post (the so-called MO/TO payments) using your card. However, it is necessary to permit transactions in advance without the presence of the card on the Infoline. Before confirming an order, consider carefully each time whether the merchant is credible (for instance, publishes the complete address, complaint rules, and the like).
