When processing payments, the Bank respects the Payment Deadlines. You can conveniently execute domestic payments through eBanking products offered by our bank.
Domestic payment means a wire transfer in Czech crowns between accounts denominated in Czech crowns and kept in the Czech Republic.
Standard international payment
A standard international payment is a cross-border transfer to a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or a transfer in a currency other than the currency of EEA countries. Transfers are made by way of a wide network of correspondent banks.
SEPA payment
SEPA credit transfer is a euro-denominated noncash transfer of funds to a beneficiary submitted to a bank electronically. A SEPA credit transfer has precisely defined requirements and is executed within SEPA countries between participant banks that have acceded to the conditions for processing SEPA credit transfers (PDF, CSV).
It was launched on 28 January 2008 and since then more than 4,577 banks in 32 countries have joined the SEPA initiative, which is over 95% of payment transactions in SEPA countries. UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. was one of the first banks in the Czech Republic which started offering its clients SEPA payments.
SEPA direct debit
Since the end of 2008, businesses and consumers have been able, for the first time ever, to use cross-border direct debiting across 33 European countries. This service may be used if the payer’s bank and the beneficiary’s bank have both acceded to the SEPA Direct Debit Scheme. A SEPA direct debit is a euro-denominated noncash payment initiated electronically by the beneficiary through its bank on the basis of a prior agreement with the payer (the so-called “Mandate”). The agreement between the payer and the beneficiary must contain the required particulars, including the type of SEPA direct debit used. Direct debits are most often used for recurrent payments with a fixed or variable amount, but a one-time direct debit can also be made.
